| Details: | I was between homes - I stored personal belongings in members homes of the Atlanta Friends Meeting in Decatur (Quakers). I had books and artwork - One item that disappeared while my belongs were stored was an original scratchboard (black scaratchboard) a primitive piece I did for a final exam for my last quarter of art school. It took 120 hours to complete. It was a partial copy of a famous woodcut illustration of "Jane Eyre". it was a one of a kind, and I have the tracing. It was removed from the cardboard covering to protect it. It was one of my most valued belongings. I was heartbroken for it to be missng and heartbroken that my things were not better taken care of by church members I entrusted them to. |
